At Dementia and Aged Care Services (DACS), care is about more than services — it’s about people, dignity, and living life with purpose. We walk alongside older people and their families, providing compassionate support that helps you feel safe, valued, and understood.
Our personalised home and community services are designed to support independence, wellbeing, and social connection at every stage of ageing, including for people living with dementia. With specially trained staff and flexible care options, we support you to continue doing the things that matter most — in your own home and within your community.
With DACS, you’re not just receiving care. You’re gaining a trusted partner who listens, adapts, and respects your choices. Our team works with you and your loved ones to stay active, socially connected, and confident in everyday life.
From help around the home and meal preparation to allied health services, lifestyle activities, and specialised dementia support, our services are tailored to meet your needs — now and as they change over time.
We also understand that caring for someone you love can be challenging. That’s why DACS supports carers through education, flexible respite options, support groups, and an advice line, offering reassurance and time to rest when it’s needed.
DACS services are available across several regions in New South Wales, with services continuing to grow. Support may be accessed through the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP), Support at Home (SaH), or through private arrangements.
Proudly operated by Alzheimer’s Queensland, DACS is part of a trusted not-for-profit provider and part of Australia’s largest dementia association.
